If you want to see former Wilby standout Walter Wright in action for Montana men’s basketball, you have a chance this weekend.
Montana travels to Kansas to face an 8-1 Jayhawks squad. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. ET tip at the famous Phog Allen Fieldhouse and can be seen on ESPN3.
Wright is coming off of a good all-around performance in a 79-59 win over Great Falls of the NAIA on Tuesday.
Wright played 30 minutes and tallied 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting (2-of-5 on 3s). Wright led the Griz in steals with three and assists with five. Wright also pulled down three rebounds.
On the season, Wright is averaging 29.1 minutes per contest for Montana (4-5), second on the team. Wright is shooting 37.9 percent from the floor and averaging 10.6 points per contest, which is second on the team. Wright leads the team in assists (26) and steals (14).
