St. Paul gets its first win
The Falcons claimed a 51-24 win over Seymour for their first victory of the season, according to results posted on Connecticut Wrestling Online.
William Konikowski (126), Elliot Garcia (132), Johann Strasser (138), Chris Dionne (160), Jordan Silva (170), Atem Caron (182), Sebastian Lombardo (195), Matt Gray (220) and Adam Ward (106) all won for St. Paul.
The Falcons are back in action next Tuesday at Monument Mountain in Massachusetts.
Bristol Eastern knocks off Berlin
The Lancers rolled to a 63-13 victory to get to 2-0 on the season.
Pins by seniors Zac Thompson and Luis Rivera helped set the tone, according to a post on the Bristol Eastern athletics Twitter account. Good efforts also came from Jordon Champagne, Justin Marshall, Anthony Lozier and Zach Marquis.
Eastern heads to a holiday tournament in Danbury next Monday.
Bristol Central keeps winning
The Rams took down Platt 37-21 and improved to 2-0 on the season.
Noah Cruz was selected as “Animal” of the meet, according to the Central wrestling Twitter account. The Rams will take part in the Frank Chaves Invitational next Monday in Simsbury.
