The Sacred Heart boys basketball team continues to roll.
The Hearts hammered the Wolcott Eagles 94-58 on Tuesday night at Wolcott High School in the John H. Morris Gymnasium. With the win, top-rated Sacred Heart improved to 4-0. The Hearts play again tomorrow at home against Derby, then take on Kennedy Friday night in Alumni Hall.
The Bulldogs (3-1) steamrolled the Naugatuck Greyhounds 88-37 on Augelli Court in their first game since last Wednesday’s 79-77 home loss to Wilby. Crosby goes to Torrington Friday for a 7 p.m. game against the Red Raiders.
The coaches won’t look this far ahead, but the first meeting between Sacred Heart and Crosby takes place next Friday (Jan. 15) at 7 p.m. at Alumni Hall. You might as well plan accordingly starting now to get into that gym for that game.
