The St. Paul girls basketball team (18-1) clinched the outright NVL Copper Division title on Tuesday night with a 64-40 win in the valley against Seymour.
Lizzy Cretella led the Falcons with 25 points while Emily Sklenka tallied nine points and 10 rebounds. St. Paul finished 8-0 in Copper Division play. The Falcons play their final regular season game on Thursday at Watertown at 7 p.m.
With former Falcon standout and current Dallas Cowboy Byron Jones in attendance, St. Paul took a 60-49 victory at home over Seymour.
Jackson Hines had 16 points to lead the Falcons. Ben Mazzone scored 13 points while Mike Palmieri added 11 for St. Paul (9-8). The Falcons host Kennedy on Friday at 7 p.m.
