BIG GAME ALERT: Sacred Heart at Holy Cross boys basketball, Tuesday, 7 p.m.

I chose this game because Holy Cross was the only team to really challenge the Sacred Heart juggernaut this season in the NVL.
The Crusaders battled the Hearts on Jan. 29 at Alumni Hall, but like everyone else in the NVL, they came away with a double-digit loss, 77-65. Holy Cross did play with Sacred Heart for much of the game, though (the Hearts led by five at the half and six at the end of the third quarter), and this time, the rematch is in The Pit. The Hearts come in at 16-2 overall (16-0 NVL, 7-0 Brass Division), while the Crusaders check in at 12-4 (10-4 NVL, 2-4 Brass).
In the first meeting, Sacred Heart’s Mustapha Heron led all scorers with 23 points while Tyrn Flowers added 18. J.T. Riddick, who had 10 points in the first meeting, is out with a back injury.
Holy Cross was led by Justin Strielkauskas’ 14 points in the first matchup.
I plan on attending the game and will provide a game post, along with photos and maybe some videos. The Zone will be in the house and will provide updates, so look for those as well.
