Bristol Knights, CTL teammates lose pitchers’ duel to Greater Hartford Twilight Baseball League

The Connecticut and Greater Hartford twilight baseball leagues hooked up for a terrific pitchers’ duel on Monday night at East Hartford’s McKenna Field.
When it was all over, the Greater Hartford Twilight Baseball League scored a 1-0 win over the Connecticut Twilight League. Not only that, GHTBL pitchers combined for a no-hitter.
It’s not like the pitching was absent on CTL’s side.
“Pitching was fantastic,” read a blog post on the CTL website. “Bryant Morander, Devin Over, Zach Cloft and Marco Ross (Bristol Knights) threw fantastic.”
The offense, not so much.
“Lots of opportunities but no hits,” the post read.
Bristol was represented by Ross, Eddie Dickman, Brian LaRochelle, Chris McGrath and Julio Ortiz-Rivera. Scott Dickens served as a coach and chief photographer, of course.
Here’s his photo of the Knight players before the game.

It was the second annual all-star game between the two leagues.
