TRI-STATE PLAYOFFS: Wolcott Scrappers eliminated at home

It was not a pleasant night at the BAW Complex for the third-seeded Wolcott Scrappers on Tuesday.
Wolcott saw its run at a second Connecticut Tri-State Baseball League championship in three years rudely erased by the sixth-seeded Tri-Town Trojans by a score of 23-6. Tri-Town claimed the final two games to win the series 2-1. 
Wolcott ends its Tri-State season with a record of 15-5.

Terryville Black Sox 6, Bethlehem Plowboys 2: Terryville evened its series against Bethlehem and forced a Game 3 today at 5 p.m. at Old Terryville High School.
 
Watertown Blaze 17, Litchfield Cowboys 1: The top seed evened its series and forced a Game 3 at Washington Park tonight at 7 o’clock.
