TOURNEY TIME: St. Paul boys soccer wins on the road

The St. Paul boys soccer team went on the road and won a Class S first round match on Election Day.
Wolcott, Bristol Central, Kennedy and Sacred Heart all lost on the road. Here’s what happened:

Class S
No. 29 St. Paul 1, No. 4 Parish Hill 0
The Falcons took a long road trip on Tuesday, but the drive was worth it as they moved on to the second round.
St. Paul is back on the road Thursday at 2 p.m. against Wamogo of the Berkshire League. The Warriors took down No. 20 Westbrook 8-2.

Class M
No. 9 Windham 2, No. 24 Wolcott 1 (2 OT)
For the second straight day, an Eagle soccer team lost in overtime.
This time, it happened to the boys on the road in Windham. Wolcott finished its season with a record of 6-8-3. It was the final match for Eagle seniors Larry Coderre, Nicholas Baldwin, Dylan Barbosa, Jacob Audibert, Tyler DosSantos and James Schultz.
Class L
No. 14 Guilford 3, No. 19 Bristol Central 1
The Rams were in a scoreless match with 13 minutes left in the first half, then the home side took over.
Bristol Central got on the board when David Bowes scored off a Max Naranjo assist with 2:50 to play in the match. The Rams saw their season close with a record of 7-8-2. It was the final match for Central seniors Daniel Avila, Garrett Gottschall, Max Naranjo, Matthew Ligi, Steven Behmke, Facundo Ramos, Jonathan Cabrera, Michael Lemke and Nicholas Marcantonio.
Class LL
No. 1 Naugatuck 3, No. 33 Kennedy 0
The Eagles saw their run end against the NVL foe Greyhounds on Tuesday evening.
Naugatuck scored early in the match and didn’t look back. Kennedy saw its season end with a record of 8-10-1. It was the final match for Eagle seniors Camilo Barrera, Rafael Carneiro, Anderson Vargas, Marjol Mukallari, Andrea Guevara, Kamal Carwin and Jimmy Pin.
Class S
No. 3 Coventry 5, No. 30 Sacred Heart 0 
The Hearts were no match for the Patriots on Tuesday.
Sacred Heart saw its season end with a record of 5-9-3. It was the final match for Heart senior Legend Johnson.
