QUICK BITES: Holy Cross boys 2-0 under new head coach Ryan Olsen

It’s not easy taking over for a legend.
Ask Bunty Ray, who took over for Mike Giovinazzo as Bristol Eastern boys coach this season. Another new head guy is Ryan Olsen, who took over for the legendary Ed Generali at Holy Cross.
So far, so good for the Crusaders. Holy Cross beat Seymour 81-62 on opening night, then dismantled Derby 85-42 tonight to get to 2-0.
In the opener against Seymour, Nyzair Rountree lit up the nets for 29 points while teammate Kerson Etienne had 22 points. DeAndre Wallace had a huge double-double with 15 points and 22 rebounds, according to statistics posted on MaxPreps.
Stats weren’t available yet for the Derby game, but the most important one is Holy Cross’ record, 2-0.
