CLASS L BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 1 Sacred Heart vs. No. 2 Notre Dame-Fairfield

The 2017 Class L boys championship game will be a rematch of last year’s Class M final.

The Hearts come into the game — Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Mohegan Sun Arena — with a perfect record of 27-0. The Lancers enter the contest at 25-2.
Sacred Heart can wrap up its ninth state championship with a win Sunday. The Hearts are 8-2 all-time in state title games and have won the last six times they played for the title.
Notre Dame-Fairfield is making its third straight state title game appearance, but still looking for its first championship. The Lancers are 0-3 in state title games.
