Distinct local connection on Anna Maria College football coaching staff

Mulrooney (Anna Maria athletics)

When you look at first-year head coach Dan Mulrooney’s football staff at Anna Maria College, you will note some very local ties.
Here’s some info about each of the local coaches:

Dan Mulrooney
Mulrooney was a standout football player at Holy Cross High School. While with the Crusaders, Mulrooney was an All-NVL and all-state performer and helped his team to two state championships.
Mulrooney was named head coach of Anna Maria in the winter of 2016. He will also serve as the defensive coordinator. Mulrooney played college football at both Boston College and Stony Brook University.

On Mulrooney’s staff are Matt Coyne and CJ McIntosh. Coyne will be the offensive coordinator while McIntosh is a graduate assistant.
