Local Blues Curtin and Guilmette give back to Bristol community

Bristol Blues players Tommy Curtin and Mitch Guilmette give back to the Mum City community, and they do it both on and off the field.
On Thursday, Curtin and Guilmette visited The Beekley Center for Breast Health & Wellness, and they brought along a gift. The gift was a check for the proceeds from the team’s Pink Night, which was held last Friday at Muzzy Field. The attendance for that game, a 7-6 win by the Blues, was 1,923.
Curtin and Guilmette played on opposing baseball teams in their high school days, Curtin for Bristol Eastern and Guilmette for Bristol Central. Now teammates, the two came together and presented a check to an organization that works hard to promote good health.
