The Lancers ended the night with a sweep of the Rams, including a soccer doubleheader at Bristol Central High School.
The most drama of the night came during boys soccer, where Eastern's Jake Woznicki scored an overtime goal to deliver a 2-1 victory over Central. Woznicki scored on a header off a corner kick of Lyle Winiarski, according to a story from Dan Orencole on The Bristol Press website. The Lancers improved to 3-4 while the Rams dropped to 4-2-1.
Girls soccer was the first match of the doubleheader, and Eastern claimed a 5-2 victory over Central. Myah Croze starred for the Lancers with a hat trick.
