Bristol Eastern wrestling ties for second at State Open

Bristol Eastern wrestling tied for second place as a team at the State Open on Saturday at New Haven’s Floyd Little Athletic Center.
The Lancers had 95 team points, which tied them with Killingly and Fairfield Warde for runners-up. Danbury claimed the team title with 149.5 points.
Eastern had four place-winners, led by a second from Trinidad Gonzalez at 195 pounds. Jordon Champagne took third at 113, Mikey Barrett was fifth at 160, and Justin Marshall was 6th at 152.
Bristol Central’s Chris Trelli was fifth at 120.
